Nigeria: DSS presents “justice crack” to Peter Akah, Sowore alleges

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has alleged that the Department of State Services (DSS) presented Justice Mark Chidiebere, popularly known as “Justice Crack,” to Peter Akah at its headquarters. Sowore claims the DSS plans to prosecute Chidiebere.
who was transferred from military custody, allegedly to shield the Nigerian Army from misconduct allegations. He demands Chidiebere’s unconditional release and mobilization of activists to support the whistleblower.
Chidiebere, missing since April 28, 2026, was last seen after criticizing the military’s treatment of soldiers. His friends and family suspect abduction by the Counter-Intelligence Command, citing tracking data placing him in military locations. Activists urge international intervention, calling for his release and accountability for those involved.
