Tariff Terrorism.

Let’s be clear. The US has never been a victim. Rather, the US has always been a beneficiary and winner in the global financial and economic space! Therefore, the current trajectory of the rogue regime in DC led by the fascist Donald Trump in imposing tariffs on nations big or small is an unprovoked economic violence for political objectives. That is terrorism. It is a violent assault which has severe human rights implications which the international community must address.

The fact is that the US has been the initiator, leader, and operator of the global financial and economic system since the creation of the Bretton Woods institutions in 1944. The political, financial, and economic architecture that emerged after the war – the UN, IMF and the World Bank – all consummated in the United States have seen the US emerge and remain the greatest beneficiary of the global system. Because this global system is built so much around and within the US, it has given it so much power and control that today Washington is able to conveniently use tariffs to terrorize practically everyone.

Since the new world order in 1945, the US dollar, companies and banking institutions became dominant. As a country that has created robust free market and democratic institutions and environment, the US attracted the best brains, inventors and entrepreneurs from across the globe which has led to high outputs across all its industries and services.

A cursory look into the US economy will see the presence of uncountable experts, investors, scientists, and professionals in all fields from as many countries in the world. US hospitals, universities, research labs and military are saturated with high level foreign experts and professionals which have accorded the country untold benefits and strength.

At the same time, US companies can be found in every part of the globe engaging in mining, manufacturing, services and all sorts of trade and investments, out of which they make billions. No single country has benefited from the world and its resources as much as the United States of America did! The Atlantic Slave Trade generated invaluable benefits for the creation and prosperity of the US. Therefore, it’s totally false to claim that the US was a victim and cheated by others. The lies of the rogue regime in DC must be exposed and confronted.

The US does not only engage in ordinary business in foreign countries, but also US companies or the US government itself or both have forcefully removed regimes and triggered wars just to have space to enter or remain in a country to exploit their resources. The examples across the world are uncountable.

The Frankenstein in the Oval Office must not be allowed to distort history just to destroy the world in furtherance of his selfish interest with his corrupt racist oligarchs. They are using tariffs to undermine economies and weaken nations including the interests of American citizens themselves for the selfish interest of few oligarchs including Trump himself.

This is why Trump is selective on which country to impose tariffs or gets offended when other nations retaliate by also imposing their tariffs on the US hence threatens more tariffs. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
