Nigeria: Uche Ogbodo, husband Bobby Maris unfollow each other amid separation rumors

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo and her husband, Bobby Maris, have unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling rumors that their marriage is in trouble.

The development comes days after Ogbodo began sharing cryptic posts on her Instagram stories that many fans interpreted as hints of marital problems. 

The speculation intensified on Tuesday when a purported audio recording surfaced online. In the clip, a voice alleged to be the actress is heard confronting her husband over claims that he had not been paid at work.

A check by DAILY POST confirms that as of Tuesday, both Ogbodo and Maris no longer follow each other on Instagram. Neither of them has publicly addressed the rumors.

Ogbodo and Maris traditionally married in January 2023. She is older than her husband. The couple already had their first daughter together before the wedding, and welcomed a baby boy in October 2023.

Ogbodo is also a mother of one other child. She gave birth to her first daughter, Mildred Chinagorom, in 2014.

The actress has not commented on the unfollowing or the leaked audio. Fans have taken to social media to share mixed reactions, with some urging the couple to address the rumors directly.

As of press time, both Ogbodo and Maris’ pages remain without posts referencing the situation.
