Nigeria: Roiea wins Best Afrobeats Artiste of the Year at AGEA

Emerging Afrobeats singer Chima Emmanuel Ugwuadu, known as Roiea, has been named Best Afrobeats Artiste of the Year at the African Global Excellence Awards, AGEA.
The award ceremony held recently in Lagos and brought together entertainers, music executives, media personalities, and fans to celebrate achievements across Africa’s entertainment industry. Roiea was among the younger artistes recognised on the night.
Over the past year, Roiea has built a growing fanbase with melodic songs, energetic live shows, and consistent music releases. His tracks have gained traction on streaming platforms, radio playlists, and entertainment events.
After receiving the award, Roiea said the honour was encouraging. He thanked the AGEA organisers, his management team, and supporters who have followed his journey.
The award adds to a period of increased visibility for the artiste, with attention now shifting to upcoming releases, collaborations, and performances.
