The Delta State Police Command has made a significant breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping, arresting a notorious interstate kidnap syndicate operating in Delta, Rivers, Enugu, and Imo states.
A 21-year-old syndicate member from Kwara State, arrested in Port Harcourt.
The 40-year-old gang leader and coordinator, arrested in Elelenwo area, Port Harcourt.
Umar Mohammed 38-year-old suspect heading the Enugu axis, arrested in the Oil Mill Area, Port Harcourt.
Benjamin Benemor A 53-year-old kidnap/armed robbery suspect arrested in Warri South LGA.
One AK-47 Rifle loaded with 23 rounds of live ammunition.
One pump action with seven rounds of live cartridges.
One English Beretta Pistol with magazine.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, has commended the operatives for their bravery and professionalism, reiterating the command’s commitment to securing lives and property in Delta.
