Nigeria: Landlord’s son allegedly kills 22-year-old tenant in Ondo

A 22-year-old woman identified as Joy Tale has been allegedly killed by her landlord’s son, Odunayo Olomolatan, aged 41, in Ode-Irele, Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The incident reportedly occurred on Monday during an argument between the two. According to local authorities, the suspect attacked the tenant, leading to her death.

The Ondo State Police Command confirmed that the suspect has been arrested and is currently in custody at the Divisional Police Headquarters in Ode-Irele. Investigations have begun to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the killing.

The Chairman of the local government, Olajide Akinfe, has called for calm and urged residents not to take the law into their own hands. He assured that steps are being taken to ensure the suspect faces justice.
