The Anambra State Police Command has arrested two suspects, Nnanna Charles and Okoye Chukwunonso, for possessing two trucks of cement worth N17 million. The suspects were arrested after the police received a complaint from the victim, who was defrauded by one Edwin Emeka, who requested the supply of the cement online.

According to the police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the operatives from the 33 Police Station traced the cement to different shops across the state and arrested the suspects. The police are currently interrogating the suspects to provide more information on how to arrest Edwin and other syndicate members.

The case highlights the importance of vigilance, especially when conducting business transactions online. The police command urges everyone to be cautious and report any suspicious activities to prevent harm or loss of life and property.

In a related development, the Anambra State Police Command also arrested a suspect identified as Maduka for dealing in stolen and vandalized cables in the state. The police recovered bags of vandalized copper wires, large quantities of high-tension wires, copper coil, and other transformer equipment.
