POLICE RESPONSE TO FIRE INCIDENT AT SEREKUNDA “SANDIKA”

The Gambia Police Force wishes to inform the public of a fire incident that occurred in the early hours of Monday, March 31, 2025, at “Sandika” in Serekunda.
Fire and rescue services responded and engaged in coordinated efforts to contain the blaze. The fire was eventually brought under control with the assistance of multiple water tankers.
While the police investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, the public is strongly advised to exercise caution and avoid actions that could lead to fire outbreaks, particularly in residential and commercial areas.
