Nigeria: Tragedy strikes in Edo as trailer kills two vigilantes

Two members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria were killed in a hit-and-run accident in Edo State, Nigeria. The incident occurred on Tuesday in front of the University of Benin along Lagos Road, where an articulated vehicle ran over a motorcycle carrying the vigilantes, resulting in their deaths. The victims were identified as Mustapha and another individual whose head was crushed in the accident.
The accident happened in front of the University of Benin along Lagos Road.
Cause of Accident It’s unclear whether the vigilantes were trying to stop the trailer when the accident occurred.

The police spokesman, Moses Yamu, stated they’re waiting for more information from the area’s DPO
The victims’ corpses have been deposited at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital morgue.
