James Faleke, the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, has picked up the All Progressives Congress (APC) expression of interest and nomination forms for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027. The forms, valued at N100 million, mark the formal commencement of Tinubu’s campaign for a second term.

Faleke, who is also the founder of the Tinubu Support Groups, collected and paid for the forms on behalf of the president. The APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, presented the forms to Faleke on Tuesday in Abuja, declaring the process open.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has already announced the dates for the presidential and National Assembly elections, set for January 16, 2027, and governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections on February 6, 2027.

Tinubu’s re-election bid has garnered support from various groups, including the Tinubu Support Group, which is confident that he will win with a greater margin in 2027.
