If Trump defies the courts, what happens next?

Ignoring court orders would be grounds for an impeachment, but in our GOP controlled Congress that will never happen. Congress does have the power to control him but they won’t use it.
People can do mass protests in the streets, and Trump will see them on TV if Fox News decides to cover them. But if Trump’s approval rating doesn’t suddenly plunge to below 40% then he’ll keep on doing unconstitutional and illegal shit.
Foreign countries could decide through the UN to sanction the US…over something like his Gaza plan. But that would take almost unanimous support to be effective and I don’t think it’s likely to ever happen.
Until his base starts to turn against him he’s untouchable.
