GNOC provides financial support to national beach volleyball team ahead of Zone II qualifier

Banjul, The Gambia, 3 June 2026 – The Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) has extended financial support to The Gambia’s Senior National Beach Volleyball Team ahead of the Zone II Qualifying Tournament for the 2026 African Beach Volleyball Championship, scheduled to take place in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, from 4–7 June 2026.
The support underscores GNOC’s commitment to strengthening athlete development and enhancing The Gambia’s participation in key qualification events as part of the country’s strategic preparations for the LA 2028 Olympic Games.

GNOC remains committed to creating opportunities for Gambian athletes to excel on the international stage through structured preparation, capacity building, and sustained participation in qualification events.
