Gambia to organise CAVB BVB Youth Development Cup

Rabat Morocco, June 12, 2025 – As part of the CAVB strategic objective to have good African representation at the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026 beach volleyball event the CAVB president Madame Bouchra Hajij confirmed that the body have secured in collaboration with the FIVB, Olympic Solidarity funding for the African Beach Volleyball Youth Development Cup 2025 to be hosted by The Gambia Volleyball Federation in Banjul.
Eleven countries namely Congo RDC, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Egypt, Gambia, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Siera Leone, Tunisia will take part in the event to be held according to the following calendar
Arrival of Teams: 20th August 2025
Preliminary Enquiry and Technical meeting:
21st August 2025
Competition: 22nd – 24th August 2025
Departure of teams: 25th August 2025
These flagship tournament is expected to untapped hidden talents across the continent.
