Declaration of Public Holiday for Eid-Ul-Fitr Celebrations
The public is hereby informed that Eid-Ul-Fitr will be observed either on Sunday, 30th March, 2025. His Excellency President Adama Barrow, acting under section 76 of the 1997 Constitution of the Republic of The Gambia is pleased to declare Monday 31st March 2025, as a public holiday throughout the country in observance of the Feast of Eid-ul-Fitr, locally referred to as Koriteh.
On behalf of the government, President Barrow wishes all Gambians, a joyous and blessed Eid.
