Nigeria: 24-year-old woman allegedly stabs boyfriend

Ondo State is grappling with a wave of crimes, including the killing of a man by his lover and the discovery of a decomposing body in a suspected ritual scene.
In Okitipupa, a 24-year-old woman, Augustina Mowarin, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Michael Ikuedowoni, to death following a heated argument over suspected infidelity.
The police intervened to prevent mob action and relocated the suspect to ensure her safety.
In Akungba, police discovered the decomposing body of Busayo Joy, a POS operator and university graduate, in a padlocked room with ritual items. Investigations are ongoing to locate her boyfriend, the prime suspect.
Additionally, police arrested an 87-year-old suspected gunrunner, Chief Kogbona, and 10 illegal immigrants smuggled from the Republic of Benin and Congo. The police also apprehended suspects linked to a murder in Ondo city, recovering stolen items and firearms.
