Nigeria: EFCC arrests 34 suspected internet fraudsters in Ekiti

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 34 suspected internet fraudsters in Ekiti State. The alleged fraudsters were arrested in the early hours of, at Iworoko and Ijado areas of Ado-Ekiti following credible intelligence about their suspected fraudulent activities.
According to a statement released by the Head of Media and Publicity of the commission, Dele Oyewale, the items recovered from the suspects include 11 exotic cars, laptops, several mobile phones, and incriminating documents. The EFCC stated that the suspects will be charged in court when investigations are concluded.
The arrest is part of the EFCC’s efforts to combat internet fraud and other forms of financial crimes in the country. The commission has been working tirelessly to track down and apprehend individuals involved in such activities, and this latest arrest is a testament to their commitment.
