Fourteen people narrowly escaped death in a road crash involving a commercial bus and a private car on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) attributed the accident to excessive speeding by the commercial bus driver.
LASTMA officials, along with the Lagos State Ambulance Service, quickly responded to the incident and rescued the survivors, who were taken to the Gbagada General Hospital for treatment.
The General Manager of LASTMA, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, sympathized with the injured victims and emphasized the importance of adhering to speed limits to prevent road accidents.
