The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has declared four individuals wanted for their alleged involvement in a drug trafficking syndicate linked to Lagos drug kingpin, Alhaji Suleiman Ganiu, also known as Barryshine.

Barryshine was arrested on February 12 2025 after being under the agency’s watchlist for two years. According to the NDLEA, Barryshine was involved in four foiled attempts to export cocaine to Saudi Arabia and Qatar through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, between 2022 and 2025.

The agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, stated that many of Barryshine’s drug mules had been arrested, prosecuted, and convicted, while Barryshine is currently facing multiple criminal charges.

The four individuals declared wanted by the NDLEA are:

Olarenwaju Abdulai (a.k.a. Alhaji Loyingbo)

Oluwafemi Abidoye (a.k.a. Igbono, Baba Eje, Ade Iwaya, Femi Iwaya)

 Olumuyiwa Ilori (a.k.a. Murphy)

The NDLEA has obtained a court order to declare the suspects wanted, and a public notice with their photographs has been issued. The agency is urging members of the public with any information on the whereabouts of the wanted suspects to contact the nearest NDLEA command or call their toll-free helpline.
