Nigeria: ‘I have over 500 pieces of evidence’ – Lizzy Anjorin

Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has fired back at influencer Priscilla Ojo, escalating her long-running public dispute with the Ojo family.

In a video making the rounds on social media on July 28, Anjorin responded directly to Priscilla’s recent remarks and doubled down on allegations against both Priscilla and her mother, veteran actress Iyabo Ojo. 

The actress said she is not afraid of any legal action and claimed she has substantial proof to back her statements.

Speaking in the clip, Anjorin accused Iyabo and Priscilla of orchestrating online attacks against her. She alleged that a photo of her 4-year-old daughter was posted online alongside a court document, which she described as a deliberate attempt to target her family.

“I have more than 500 pieces of evidence against Iyabo and Priscilla,” Anjorin said in the video. “Let them go to court. Nothing will come out of it. I will keep talking.”

She did not detail what the evidence entails, but insisted it was enough to defend herself publicly and legally if the matter proceeds further.

The actress also linked the mother and daughter to certain social media activities she says have been aimed at damaging her reputation over time.

The dispute between Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo is not new. For years, the two actresses have traded accusations online and in interviews, with arguments ranging from personal conduct to industry politics. 

Priscilla Ojo, Iyabo’s daughter and a social media influencer, has in recent months become more vocal in the back-and-forth. Last week, Priscilla threatened legal action against Anjorin after the actress claimed she attended a wedding uninvited.

That comment appeared to be the trigger for Anjorin’s latest response. Rather than de-escalate, Anjorin used her video to broaden the accusations and challenge the Ojos to take her to court.

The feud has played out largely on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, where clips and screenshots from both sides regularly go viral. It has also drawn thousands of comments from fans and followers who have taken sides.

On Facebook, user @sweet human wrote: “many are mad few are roaming.” 

Another commenter, @oluchukwu madu, said: “e be like Iyabo and Priscilla chop this woman biscuit.”

The mix of jokes, criticism, and support is typical of how the dispute has been received. Some followers called for the women to settle privately, while others said they were waiting to see the “evidence” Anjorin claims to have.

Public feuds between Nollywood personalities are not uncommon, but this one has lasted longer than most and now involves multiple generations of the same family.

For Anjorin, the stakes are personal and professional. She has positioned herself as someone who will not be silenced, even in the face of possible lawsuits. By referencing her child in the allegations, she has also raised the temperature of the exchange.

For Iyabo and Priscilla Ojo, the issue is reputation management. Iyabo Ojo is one of Nollywood’s most visible actresses and producers, with a large following and brand deals. Priscilla has built her own platform as an influencer and entrepreneur. Legal threats have been mentioned by Priscilla before, but no suit has been filed publicly as of July 28.

Anjorin’s claim of “500 pieces of evidence” puts pressure on the Ojos to either respond with their own documentation or pursue legal channels to stop further statements.

There have been attempts by fans and mutual colleagues in the past to mediate between Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo, but none have stuck. Both sides have accused the other of starting the conflict and refusing to back down.

With Anjorin now saying she will “continue to speak publicly,” it appears the dispute is set to continue online.

Legal experts note that sharing a minor’s photo alongside court documents can raise privacy concerns, depending on how and where it was posted. If Anjorin’s allegations about that incident are true, it could become a point of focus if either side goes to court.

Anjorin has not said when or how she plans to release the evidence she referenced. Priscilla Ojo has not responded publicly to the latest video as of the time of this report. Iyabo Ojo also has not made a new statement.

Given the history between them, another round of posts and counter-posts seems likely in the coming days.

The feud remains one of the most talked-about celebrity disputes in Nollywood right now — not just because of the names involved, but because it keeps spilling into discussions about online harassment, privacy, and how public figures handle conflict.
