Gambia beach volleyball super star Sainey Jawo reflects on successful 2025/2026 season with Al Sadd

Sainey Jawo, Gambian international beach volleyball star, has reflected on a remarkable 2025/2026 season with Al Sadd SC after ending the campaign with one Gold Medal and one Bronze Medal across two major championships.
The successful season adds another impressive chapter to Jawo’s growing international career, bringing his overall medal tally to 40 international medals. Out of those, 24 medals have been achieved at professional club level with Al Sadd, including 12 Gold Medals, 8 Silver Medals, and 4 Bronze Medals.
Speaking after the conclusion of the season, Jawo expressed gratitude to God for the strength and opportunity to achieve another successful campaign. He also acknowledged the contribution of his teammates and technical staff for their hard work, unity, and dedication throughout the season.
Special praise was reserved for hardworking coach Mounir Ghellaimi, whose leadership and commitment played a key role in the club’s achievements during the season.
Despite the impressive accomplishments, Jawo remains focused on the future, emphasizing that discipline, patience, and continuous hard work remain the key ingredients for even greater success ahead.
“Self-Motivation-Is-Enough,” Jawo concluded, confidently signaling his determination to continue reaching new heights in his career.
