Yousour Ndour storms Kairaba Avenue with power

In a bid to celebrate Africell’s 25 years of anniversary, the giant telecom company in partnership with the Senegalese mbalax super star held an exciting free night concert at Traffic Lights, Kanifing Municipality.

The free concert night attracted thousands of music lovers within Banjul City, Kanifing Municipality and West Coast Region. It was characterized by music, singing and dance by popular Gambian artists including ST, Hawa Gambia, Attack, Husain Dada and Zizzle.

Following the local artists performance on stage, the Senegalese champion mbalax climb on stage with power.

The moment the mbalax star stepped on the stage the audience cheered with loud voices and began shouting Yousour Ndour.

The Senegalese international mbalax super star began jumping on stage in blue colors with his mic, singing and dancing before the crowd.

The Kairaba Avenue route to Traffic Lights was dominated with Africell brand including banners, billboards and walking billboards.

The musical night show was also an opportunity for young Gambian artists to showcase their talents and entertain their supporters and the entire audience.

The young artists performed with golden voice and melodious musical instruments, while gallant supporters jumped and danced in support of their artist of choice.

In the course of the free night show the local artists stepped on stage one after the other performing incredibly with golden voices, while lightings blinking before the audience.

The audience could be seen happily cheering, dancing, shouting, laughing and smiling at their popular artists who performed with courage and confident before them, while camera professionals mainly from the national broadcaster walking around the musical jamboree taking footages.

On the other side, the Africell management, staff and customers seated gently opposite the stage enjoying the Africell- Yousour Ndour 25 anniversary free concerts.

Speaking to the cheering crowd, Musa Sise, director of communication for Africell commended all Africell customers for being with the company for 25 years.

“You are family and we organize the concert to reward you,” he said.

Hussein Diab-Ghanem, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Africell Gambia also thanked the Africell customers for their patronization to the telecom company. He said Africell international commenced in The Gambia 25 years ago before spreading to other African countries.

He assured that the giant telecom company would continue to provide affordable internet and financial services to its customers.
