Would anybody be successful in a coup d’état in the U.S.?

On March 1, 2025, Elon Musk stated that JD Vance will be the next president of the United States — the U.S. coup d’état could be just months (or weeks) away.
Musk is effectively destroying any reputation Trump had (which wasn’t much, except the MAGA cult following, which is quickly eroding as well) — and he’s doing it purposefully.
As well as destroying the U.S. foreign alliances.
With the obvious goal of NATO and western allies staying out if there is a coup in the U.S.
And you know who’s going to help him?
Russia.
That’s why Musk is on a frenzy of anti-Ukraine, anti-Zelenskyy posts, redistributed and amplified by Musk’s group of sycophants.
Because Vladimir Putin has likely promised to help Musk get the U.S. under his boot, if he gets him Ukraine.
I was thinking how Musk is going to get America subdued — because the American troops are unlikely to follow orders to shoot civilians.
But the Russian troops certainly will.
All that Musk needs to do is to behead the American military and cut off communications.
And Musk has already installed his software on servers of the United States government.
It is much more dangerous than you think.
- Putin captured Crimea in 2014 with barely any fighting back from the Ukrainian troops, because he controlled the president — Yanukovich didn’t order the Ukrainian troops to resist when “little green men” with no insignia swiftly moved in. So, in just a couple of days, Russia took over the large peninsula.
- In 1968 in Prague, Soviet troops on tanks landed by planes and captured the Czech capital. It was swift because no one stood against it.
- On October 7, 2023, Israeli military was caught off guard because the monitoring systems were effectively switched off by a hostile cyber attack — and defenseless sleeping soldiers and officers were overpowered by a gang of militants.
Imagine this happening in the U.S. — I guarantee you that the answer won’t be an immediate nuclear attack on Russian cities, but an attempt to first figure out what’s happening.
If the Internet and mobile network are cut off (imagine communication centers being hacked — or even destroyed by Russian missiles), this would be hard to do.
A cabal of Russian assets in the White House is capable of inflicting immense damage within a very short period of time, allowing to behead both police and military.
In February 2022, in the swiftly occupied towns near Kyiv, the Russians had “kill lists” — they ordered everyone to stay inside and then soldiers were picking people from their homes. They told other residents it was just for a short time to check documents and the person would be back soon. So, the people didn’t even resist. Then their hands were tied and the people taken to torture chambers, questioned and many of them were shot. Hundreds of these who were arrested never came back. Their bodies were recovered from mass graves when the Ukrainians pushed the Russian troops from Kyiv.
They were arresting those who served in the military and police first of all, as well as political activists and public officials. Some were shot with their families.
The cruelty with which the Russians were acting was shocking — no one expected something like that.
And while it was happening, the Russian state media was loudly broadcasting that they “do not target civilians” and that “civilians have nothing to be afraid of”.
We all think, “it can’t happen here” — but it can.
Because the good people are bound by the rule of law, and the bad people are doing what they need to achieve their goals. By any means at their disposal.
Elon Musk and his cabal of billionaires definitely have a plan. And they are not going to wait long to implement it.
