Team Gambia confirm for Islamic Solidarity Games

Banjul, The Gambia – October 17, 2025 –

A squad of 16 athletes  will fly Gambia’s flag at 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 7 to November 21st 2025.

The team will comprise an athletics team of nine, two athletes are registered for swimming, Judo confirmed with 2, Taekwondo, para athletics and Karate each will send one athlete.

2. JONGA PAP D – 50m butterfly and freestyle, 100m freestyle

ATHLETICS

1. Ansu Badgie – 100m

2. Ebrima Camara – 100m

3. Adama Jammeh – 200m

4. Alieu Joof – 200m

5. Jalika Bajinka – 200m, 4×100

6. Mariama Camara – 4x100m

7. Nyimasata Jawneh – 100m , 4x100m

8. Serreh Sanneh – Long Jump

9. Isatou Sey – 100m, 200m, 4x100m

10. Ali Kah – Para Athletics T53/54

JUDO

1. Faye Njie – 73kg

2. Abdourahman Ceesay – 100kg

KARATE

1. Emmanuel Mendy – Men’s Kumite 75kg

TAEKWONDO

1. Maria Sambou Marchlinski – under 57kg
