Police: Kush kills drug addict at Old Yundum

Old Yundum Police has received a report of an incident of alleged drug abuse causing death on Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Gambia Police Force (GPF) said in a statement.
“It was reported that Ousman Jallow allegedly smoked a substance known as “Khush” and collapsed. He was taken to Kanifing General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Gambia Police Force urges the public to avoid drug abuse due to its health risks and legal consequences.
It added: “Anyone with information is encouraged to report to the nearest police station.”
