Nigeria: Tacha’s tearful return: A journey from one‑room apartment to stardom

Tacha stepped back into the tiny one‑room flat in Nkpor, Port Harcourt, where her whole story began. The reality‑TV star posted a heartfelt video on Instagram, wandering the familiar streets, hugging elderly neighbours, and playing with kids who recognized her instantly. She described the compound as a vault of laughter, tears, and the place where her mom, dad, sister and she once lived together, even where she attended primary school.

The visit cracked open old emotions. “Standing here after all these years brought me to tears… not of sadness, but of deep reflection,” she wrote, mourning that her mum couldn’t witness the moment. She drew strength from that memory, reminding herself how far she’s come from those humble roots.

Tacha urged anyone still doubting to believe in themselves first, stressing that divine plans are good and that perseverance beats any obstacle. She announced a massive next step: attempting a Guinness World Record and hosting the Biggest 3‑Day Beauty Festival, inviting fans to join her live at the John Randle Centre, Lagos Island, from October 10th‑12th.
