Nollywood actress Regina Daniels posted an emotional video call with her two sons on Instagram on Monday night. In the clip she presented Prince Munir Nwoko (Moon) and Prince Khalifa Nwoko (Kharly) with toys, clothes and shoes. One of the boys pleaded, “Mama, come back,” and Regina replied, “I will come soon, OK.” The children also told her, “Take care of us and yourself… love you.”

In the caption, Regina reflected on the strain of being apart from her kids amid her ongoing marital difficulties with husband Senator Ned Nwoko. “People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children,” she wrote. “I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away.”

She also took aim at Nwoko’s recent social‑media activity, which featured a Sunday video of the family with the caption, “Sundays are for slowing down, reconnecting, and doing what truly matters… My family and I spent today doing the simple things that bring the most joy.” Regina questioned the motive: “These actions make it reasonable to question whether his behaviour is motivated by public engagement rather than parental responsibility.”

The actress said she had tried to stay silent to avoid media attention, but felt compelled to share that her last conversation with the boys was in mid‑November. Reaffirming her love and commitment as a mother, she added, “I am left to wonder whether I am truly such a threat that I am being challenged so aggressively. I may be young, but I am such a mum, I enjoy being a mum, and I miss being a mum. It’s so crazy if their father thinks I won’t come for my children. I will definitely see my kids soon!”

The post comes as the couple’s custody dispute continues to draw public interest, with Nwoko reportedly filing for full custody and dismissing the nannies Regina had hired. Both parties have used social media to present their sides, fueling the ongoing conversation about parental responsibility and media exposure.
