Pastor Chris Okafor’s legal team is pushing back against allegations made on social media, challenging VeryDarkMan (VDM), Doris Ogala, and other bloggers to provide concrete evidence to the Nigeria Police. The allegations, which include rape, murder, and abuse, are described as “false, malicious, and part of a coordinated campaign of cyberbullying, blackmail, and public incitement”.
The dispute began in late 2024 following a business engagement involving Ogala and a third party. Okafor disengaged from the arrangement, leading Ogala to allege he owed her ₦45 million. The claims escalated to include romantic relationship, monetary demands, and serious allegations.
Okafor has cooperated with police investigations, providing “irrefutable evidence” countering the allegations. The Lagos State Commissioner of Police has directed the State Criminal Investigation Department to handle the matter.
Okafor’s lawyer, Ife Ajayi, calls on Ogala, VDM, and others to submit allegations, witnesses, and evidence to the police, warning they’ll face legal consequences if they do not.
