Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is pushing full steam ahead with infrastructure projects, despite opposition claims of withholding funds. During an inspection of the Lagere flyover and other projects in Ile-Ife, Adeleke accused the opposition of blocking ₦100 billion in state allocations to stall progress. “We won’t let their plot succeed,” he vowed.
The governor emphasized Ile-Ife’s cultural significance, urging critics: “Why hate this ancestral city?”
The flyover is expected to be completed by December 2025.
