Nigeria: Gunmen kidnap farmer and labourer in Ondo, demand N15m ransom

A farmer and a labourer were abducted by gunmen on Saturday evening in the Oke Oge community, Oba Ile area of Akure North Local Government Area, Ondo State. The victims were returning from the Akure airport when they were taken 

Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, the commander of the state security network agency, Amotekun, confirmed the incident and assured that his men are working to rescue the victims. “We are on top of the situation,” he said. “Our men have been deployed to rescue them from the kidnappers.

The kidnappers have contacted the families of the victims, demanding a ransom of N15 million. A family source confirmed that the hoodlums insisted on the N15 million ransom.
