Nigeria: Elon Musk Becomes first person ever worth $600 billion

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has shattered global wealth records by becoming the first individual in history to surpass a net worth of $600 billion. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his fortune reached $638 billion – a figure that puts him ahead of every other billionaire on the planet.
The surge comes after SpaceX, the private rocket company in which Musk holds roughly a 42 percent stake, completed a tender offer that valued the firm at $800 billion, double its $400 billion valuation from August. That move added about $168 billion to Musk’s personal wealth, pushing his total to roughly $677 billion by mid‑day Monday (Eastern Time).
SpaceX, a major NASA contractor that supplies the International Space Station and pursues deep‑space missions, now accounts for about $336 billion of Musk’s net worth, making it his most valuable asset. Meanwhile, Musk continues to lead Tesla, the world’s most valuable automaker, and oversees xAI, his artificial‑intelligence and social‑media venture.
The milestone has sparked fresh talk that Musk could become the world’s first trillionaire if his companies keep appreciating. For now, the top ten richest people, per the Bloomberg Billionaires
Musk’s rapid ascent from a $24.6 billion fortune in March 2020 to this historic peak underscores how his ventures – especially SpaceX and Tesla – have reshaped the global wealth landscape. If valuations keep trending upward, the trillion‑dollar mark may soon be within reach.
