Nigeria: Ekiti Amotekun arrests 16 suspected bandits

The Ekiti State Amotekun Corps has arrested 16 suspected bandits from Kwara State who were allegedly planning to migrate into Ekiti. The suspects were caught with cattle around Gede Farm settlement in Isan-Ekiti, causing panic in the community.
According to reports, the suspects confessed to fleeing Kwara due to a crackdown on banditry and admitted involvement in cattle rustling, targeting Kwara indigenes’ cattle. Items recovered include cash, phones, charms, ID cards, and cattle.
