Dolly Parton, the 79-year-old country music legend, has announced that she’s postponing her upcoming Las Vegas concerts due to health challenges. In a social media post, Parton revealed that her doctors have advised her to undergo some procedures, but she didn’t disclose any specifics.
Despite the setback, Parton remains optimistic and humorous, joking that it’s time for her “100,000-mile check-up.” She’s rescheduled her sold-out shows at Caesars Palace for September 2026 and plans to continue working on projects in Nashville.
Parton became a major star in the 1970s with hits like “Coat of Many Colors,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “9 to 5.” Her music has endured for decades, and she’s reassuring fans that she’s not quitting anytime soon. “Don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet,” she said.
