Nigeria: Cross River State cancels cattle movement permit

The Cross River State Government has cancelled a cattle movement permit issued to the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association. The permit allowed the movement of cattle from Ebonyi State through Cross River to Cameroon.
The cancellation was announced by Commissioner Emmanuel Anom, who directed security agencies to prevent any such movement through the state. The decision overrides the previously issued permit, citing insecurity concerns.
