What was meant to be a night of fun at a bonfire party in Nsukka turned tragic when a businessman, popularly known as Power-Autos, was stabbed to death on the University of Nigeria campus.
The victim, who had attended the event as a guest, reportedly got into a dispute after his car accidentally scratched another vehicle. Though security operatives initially calmed the situation, the tension resurfaced as he tried to leave. His vehicle was blocked by other cars, and in the commotion, he was fatally stabbed in the throat.
While his friends managed to flee, he died instantly at the scene. Security personnel quickly sealed the campus gates, leading to the arrest of four suspects who were attempting to escape. Investigations are ongoing, and the incident has left both the university community and the victim’s hometown in shock.
