Nigeria: Broda Shaggi hospitalised after alleged shooting incident

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Samuel Perry, widely known as Broda Shaggi, has been hospitalised after sustaining a gunshot injury in the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State. The incident occurred under the Sango-Ota bridge on Sunday afternoon, although details surrounding the shooting remain unclear.
According to reports, Broda Shaggi was filming a comedy skit when he sustained the gunshot injury. His crew members quickly rushed him to Blooming Care Hospital in Lagos, where he received initial treatment. He was later referred to Duchess Hospital in Ikeja, where he is currently recuperating.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed that the hospital alerted them about the incident, and detectives have been mobilised to investigate. However, the Ogun State Police Command stated that the incident had not been officially reported to them.
