MEGA breaking point: Donald Trump’s former lawyer flags ‘ the things that sinks his presidency’

Donald Trump’s former lawyer on Sunday warned the President that voters will take revenge at the ballot box for a purported “war on the poor.”
While Trump has enjoyed a consistently strong base of support, that support is not endless, according to Trump’s ex-lawyer and “fixer” Michael Cohen.
Writing for his Substack blog, Cohen said, “Here we have a man; Trump, who rode to power on the backs of working-class voters, aligning himself with another man, Musk, who thinks government assistance is a joke and that ordinary people should simply bootstrap their way out of medical debt. It’s the kind of stupid plotline you would find in a South Park episode and laugh your a– off because of its absurdity.”
But Musk and Trump are not going to be riding high forever, according to Cohen’s essay.
“But here’s where the story takes a turn: Trump will soon learn that his support isn’t infinite. His base might be rabid, but even the most die-hard MAGA voter has a breaking point,” Cohen wrote on Sunday. “And when grandma’s Social Security check disappears, when their Medicaid is yanked away, when the reality of Musk’s economic war on the poor sets in; who do you think they’re going to blame?”
Cohen went on to say that, while “Trump can try to shift responsibility” and scream “fake news,” “the math doesn’t lie.”
“You screw over 72.5 million people, and you pay the price,” he then added. “Unfortunately, [Americans] will suffer. But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel…Musk’s economic jihad against working Americans will be the thing that sinks Trump’s presidency and the Republican party. And for once, the chaos will actually work in the favor of the American people.”
