The retreat was spearheaded by Commissioner of Police Abdoulie Sanneh, Head of the Prosecution Department and Legal Adviser to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), who played a pivotal role in organizing the event. It was attended by senior members of the GPF Senior Management Team, including Inspector General of Police Seedy M. In his remarks, IGP Seedy M. Touray reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the Prosecution Department, recognizing its crucial role in upholding justice and ensuring accountability. He pledged continued support to enhance legal procedures, case management, and courtroom advocacy, emphasizing the importance of a well-equipped and highly skilled prosecution team in the fight against crime.

Speaking as head of the Crime Management Pillar, AIG Demba Sowe expressed his appreciation for the dedication and professionalism of the Prosecution Department. He highlighted their essential role in ensuring effective case management and successful prosecutions, commending their efforts in tackling complex legal challenges and contributing to the overall crime management strategy of the GPF.

The retreat provides a platform for prosecutors and legal officers to review past performance, address challenges, and develop strategies for improving legal procedures, case handling, and courtroom advocacy.
