GNOC president visits Athletes Village to meet Gambian delegates

Annaba, Algeria, July 28, 2025 – The president of Gambia National Olympic Committee Bai Dodou Jallow and his team paid a visit to the Gambian delegation at the athletes village in Annaba currently participating in the ongoing ANOCA African School Games in Algeria.
Speaking at the brief meeting the Director of Youth and Sport Abass Bah who’s representing the Honorable Minister of Youth and Sport urged the athletes to be discipline and keep working hard. He reaffirmed government’s continued support to the NOC.
The Secretary General Yorro Njie equally thanked the government for funding the trip. He conveyed the NOC appreciation to the government through the Ministry of Youth and Sport.

The president thanked the government under the leadership of President Adama Barrow for funding the trip, he encouraged the athletes to be disciplined, work hard and win medal.
