Banjul, The Gambia, September 4, 2025 – The stage is finally set for the actors to perform as the Technical Meeting of the CAVB U18 Beach Volleyball Youth Development Cup was held on Wednesday in Banjul in the presence of CAVB Vice President Fredrick Ndlovu and Eng. Musa Nimrod president of Control Committee who doubles as the president of CAVB Beach Volleyball Commission.

Held under the auspices of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB), this tournament promises high-level matchups among the continent’s top youth athletes.

This tournament is part of the African Volleyball Confederation’s strategy to ensure strong African representation at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games Beach Volleyball event.

With 12 countries confirmed participating it’s expected to be a tournament that will leave a lasting legacy in Africa.
