BAC TO DISBURSE 2026 WARD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS NEXT WEEK

The 3rd Edition of the Brikama Area Council (BAC) Ward Development Fund 2026 will take place on 26 February 2026.
This year’s disbursement will be D28 million Dalasis, which will be disbursed to the 28 wards of the West Coast Region, with each ward receiving D1 million Dalasis for development of their wards.
This year’s disbursement amount of D28 million Dalasis, when added to the disbursements of 2025 (D28 million) and 2024 (D14 million) would give a total amount of D70 million Dalasis of revenue returned to the people and communities of the region (in cash) in 3 years by the BAC.
These disbursements have also enabled the BAC through the communities to register developments in every ward of the region each year. This is done through projects identified by the communities, as their priority development needs of their wards!
With BAC ensuring that all funds are accounted for and that all the projects are implemented for the benefit of the people of the ward and region.
Such disbursements would not be possible without the support of the people of the region in the payment of their fair share of taxes and the people who collects and manages the same, not stealing it and lying about it.
