Nigeria: PDP pledges to hold overdue state congresses

The factional Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convened in Abuja on Sunday, chaired by Senator Mao Ohuabunwa. In his opening remarks, Ohuabunwa reaffirmed the board’s commitment to restoring confidence within the party and to organizing state congresses in the states where they have not yet been held.
