Saidou Njie appointed URR Chairperson for The Change Front Political Movement

Saidou Njie,  a resident of Sinchu Njibeh village in the Sandu District, Upper River Region (URR) has been appointed The Change Front political movement’s regional chairperson for the URR.

 The Change Front (CF) is a political organization that aims to promote good governance; democracy; rule of law;  freedom of expression; foster social cohesion; promote economic transformation and promote professionalism tin all sectors.

The movement also, geared towards bringing social development to the doorsteps of all Gambians, regardless of geographical location, ethnic, religious and political differences.

In a press statement, Hatab Jaiteh, spokesperson of the political movement said: “Mr. Njie believes in the political doctrine of The Change Front; thus, we deem it fitting to appoint him regional chairperson for the URR immediate effect 11th November 2025.”

He said, the movement’s leadership understands that Mr. Njie is an influential, committed and hard working person. Therefore, we have no doubt he will coordinate and mobilize more people for us in URR ahead of the forthcoming elections.” 

 “We have maximum confidence in him. And we will give him the needed support to ensure he execute his functions as required in URR,” Jaiteh said.

The CF spokesperson further called on Gambians to join the political movement ahead of the next election, saying the political movement aimed to transform the Gambia and eliminate the current predicaments affecting the populace.
