The Super Eagles face Lesotho in the penultimate 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier, chasing a spot in the finals. Nigeria sit third in Group C with eleven points, three behind Benin Republic and South Africa after FIFA stripped South Africa of three points and three goals for using an ineligible player.
