Dear Hon. Minister Ceesay

It is difficult to believe that out of 10,000 applicants, not a single qualified woman in the agricultural sector was selected to work in Spain.

This raises serious concerns about the fairness and inclusivity of the selection process, suggesting that it may be deeply flawed.

By selecting women gardeners, you are not only ensuring their return to their families but also making a lasting investment in the empowerment and development of households and communities for generations to come. Women’s participation in agricultural work strengthens economic stability, fosters gender equality, and enhances social cohesion.

A more inclusive selection process would recognize the vital role women play in sustainable development and community prosperity. I urge you to take meaningful steps to ensure equitable opportunities for all qualified applicants.

I urge you to review the procedures to ensure that future selections uphold principles of equity and merit.

(As I told you before the chair you are sitting on is too low … lol 😂 )
