Enough of the Blame Game: NPP/APRC Must Grow Up and Govern

by Ndey Jobarteh
The NPP/APRC needs to understand one thing, they are in power. They are responsible. They must own their failures. This endless blame game is nothing but a distraction from their incompetence.
For eight years, Adama Barrow and the NPP/APRC have been in charge. They control the Government, the State Institutions, and for much of that time, even the National Assembly. Yet, every time they fail, their first reaction is to point fingers at the opposition. This is childish and embarrassing for a ruling party.
NPP/APRC Cannot Pick and Choose When to Take Responsibility
When they want to stay in power, they claim credit for everything.
When they fail, they suddenly blame the opposition.
This is not leadership, this is cowardice. A government that cannot take responsibility for its own decisions has no business being in power.
NPP Has Had 8 Years, No More Excuses!
They promised electoral reforms but failed.
They promised to improve the economy, yet Gambians are suffering more than ever.
They promised a new Constitution but abandoned the People’s Draft.
Now, they have KILLED Diaspora Voting and want to shift the blame.
A Party That Fears the People’s Vote Is Unfit to Lead
The truth is clear, the NPP/APRC removed Clause 14 because they are scared of losing. Instead of working for the people, they are manipulating the system to stay in power. This is not democracy, it is political survival at the expense of the Gambian people.
The NPP/APRC must stop acting like the opposition and start governing. Gambians deserve solutions, not excuses.
