NPP HATES ITS CANDIDATE FOR MASSEMBWE WARD.

I strongly believe NPP hates my nephew Lamin Jarju walahi. In April 2023 NPP used Lamin Jarju alias Lamin Jaswang as their Councillorship candidate for Massembwe ward and when he lost they abandoned him leaving him with nothing, not even a job or at least a bag of rice to feed his family. No one in the NPP executive remembered him or call him until Bakary Korta who defeated him died in November 2024 that was when they remembered him

Again this time instead of giving him some money out of all the huge money they earmarked to buy votes or woe voters to crosscarpet to them, NPP turned to his opponent Bakarju Jarju UDP candidate bribing him with a wooping sum of D500,000.00 and visa to Canada. I mean what is Lamin Jarju’s crime to be NPP? Does he not need that D500,000.00 and visa to Canada? If NPP cares about their supporters how many of their howling young supporters are today struggling with feeding their families?

Lamin is poor and vulnerable and that is what NPP is banking on using him for their selfish need. The millions earmarked to get this Massembwe ward seat, if NPP gives him just D500,000. 00 even if he looses, he would be able to keep his head above the drawning water of poverty in the Gambia but no they will not do that instead, they will waste that money just to get the seat killing bulls. ( few days ago, 3 bulls costing D41,000 each were slaughtered in Massembwe) just for mbumbaye rek while ignoring the fact that Lamin needed that money.

I am calling on my nephew Lamin Jarju to withdraw from this race immediately and leave his brother Bakary Jarju to go unopposed. NPP is what Mandinkas call SIBIJANG DUBENGO. Am sure Lamin Jaswang himself knows what that means.
