Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has stirred reactions on social media after publicly celebrating his colleague, Lizzy Gold, on her birthday amid ongoing speculation about their relationship.

The actor took to Instagram to celebrate the Nollywood actress, describing her as a hardworking woman, a go-getter and someone with a good heart.

The birthday message has attracted attention from social media users, particularly because rumours about a possible romantic relationship between the two actors have circulated online in recent months.

The speculation gained further attention following the release of their romance film, My Star, which featured an intimate kissing scene between the pair.

Reports of an alleged fallout between Yul and his partner, Judy Austin, also contributed to the online discussions, with some social media users suggesting that Lizzy Gold could be linked to the actor’s reported relationship troubles. However, the claims remain speculation.

In his birthday message, Yul showered Lizzy with praise, referring to her as the “Ghen Ghen Queen” and wishing her continued success and blessings.

However, the exchange between Yul and Lizzy attracted more attention from followers, many of whom flooded the comment section with remarks about the rumours surrounding the actors.

Some commenters jokingly referred to Lizzy as Yul’s future wife, while others encouraged the pair to consider marriage. Several reactions also compared the actress with Judy Austin, reflecting the ongoing online debate about the actor’s personal life.

One Instagram user, Amakah_of_the_good_life, wrote, “Yes ooooh. Happy birthday to our incoming wifey.”
