Nigeria: Mandy Kiss returns to Ijebu Ode

By Zuleihat Owuiye, Nigeria

Nigerian social media personality Mandy Kiss has revealed that she has returned to her family home in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, following her time in Lagos.

The media personality shared details of the major change in her life while explaining that she is currently helping her mother at her shop in Ijebu Ode.

In a video shared on her TikTok page, Mandy reflected on some of the decisions she made during her time in Lagos and acknowledged that people may choose to make fun of her because of her past.

However, she said she would rather people look beyond the mockery and learn from the experiences she has gone through.

Mandy explained that returning home has given her an opportunity to begin a different chapter of her life. She also spoke about the reception she received from her family after coming back home.

According to her, the support from her family has helped her settle into her new environment as she focuses on rebuilding her life.

The social media personality suggested that she is no longer interested in living her life based on other people’s expectations. Instead, she said she wants to prioritise her happiness and make choices that give her peace of mind.

Her decision to return to Ijebu Ode marks a notable change from her previous lifestyle in Lagos, where she gained public attention through her social media activities and controversial online persona.

Mandy’s latest revelation has also sparked conversations among her followers, with some reacting to her decision to step away from the Lagos social scene and spend more time with her family.

While discussing her past, she appeared to acknowledge that some of her previous choices may not have produced the outcome she wanted. Rather than hiding from those experiences, she encouraged others to learn from them.

For Mandy, the move back home appears to represent an opportunity to reassess her priorities and concentrate on what makes her genuinely happy.

She is now taking things one step at a time, assisting her mother at the family business while adjusting to life away from the environment that previously defined much of her public image.

Her story also highlights the possibility of starting over after making choices that one later regrets. Mandy’s message to her followers was that past mistakes should not necessarily prevent a person from choosing a different path.

As she begins this new phase in Ijebu Ode, the social media personality appears determined to focus less on public judgment and more on her personal happiness and family.
