Nigeria: Abi evicted from reality show BBNaijo

Abi, one of the contestants in the ‘Show Ya Sef’ edition, was sent out of the house during the Sunday night eviction show hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

Her eviction came as a surprise to some viewers, considering the popularity she had gained throughout her time on the show and her performances in several tasks.

Before leaving the competition, Abi had already made her mark as one of the housemates who had won the Head of House (HoH) title twice.

She emerged as Head of House during the fourth and sixth weeks of the competition, giving her an opportunity to take on a leadership role in the house on two different occasions.

Despite her achievements and growing fan base, Abi was unable to secure enough support to remain in the competition until the next stage.

The 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija, tagged ‘Show Ya Sef’, premiered on July 26, with 24 housemates entering the house to compete for the grand prize worth N160 million.

With Abi’s eviction, the number of housemates still competing for the grand prize has been reduced as the reality show moves closer to its finale.
