The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, praised Ibrahim’s academic pedigree and international exposure, saying he is well-positioned to represent Nigeria at the UN. The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, noted that Ibrahim’s selection underscores the confidence in his leadership ability and global network.
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State welcomed the appointment, citing Ibrahim’s distinguished career in public service, business, and governance.
